1. Order Processing
Orders are processed within 2–5 business days after payment has been received and cleared. Business days exclude weekends and South African public holidays. Orders placed after business hours, on weekends, or public holidays will be processed on the next business day.
2. Payment Terms
Certain products sold by Trade Marketplace are imported or specially sourced on behalf of customers. Where applicable, a refundable 60% deposit is required before an order can be placed with our suppliers. The applicable payment terms will be clearly displayed on the relevant product page and during checkout before payment is made.
3. Manufacturing & Sourcing
Some products are manufactured or sourced specifically to customer requirements. Where applicable, manufacturing or supplier preparation may require an additional 10–30 business days before dispatch. If additional preparation time applies, it will be communicated to you before your order is confirmed.
4. Shipping & Delivery
Estimated delivery times are as follows:
- Standard imported products: Approximately 10–15 business days after dispatch.
- Large equipment, custom-made or special-order products: Approximately 10–25 business days after dispatch.
Delivery estimates are provided as a guide only and are not guaranteed. Delivery may occasionally be delayed due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including:
- Customs inspections and clearance
- International freight delays
- Airline or shipping schedules
- Port congestion
- Severe weather conditions
- Industrial action
- Other unforeseen logistical events
If delays occur, we will keep you informed and provide updates whenever possible.
5. Shipping Charges
Shipping charges are calculated based on:
- Product dimensions and weight
- Delivery destination
- Courier or freight provider charges
Where local delivery charges are not included in the product price, a courier quotation will be provided before dispatch.
6. Local Delivery
Where local delivery within South Africa is required, courier charges are quoted separately. Orders will be dispatched once all outstanding balances, including any applicable courier charges, have been received and cleared. Local deliveries are normally dispatched within 1–5 business days after payment confirmation.
7. Order Tracking
Where available, customers will receive shipment tracking information once an order has been dispatched. We will also provide updates regarding any significant shipping delays.
8. Returns & Refunds
If you receive a product that is damaged, defective or incorrectly supplied, please notify us within 48 hours of delivery. Approved returns may qualify for:
- Replacement of the product;
- Exchange; or
- Refund,

9. Storage of Orders
Customers collecting orders from our warehouse are requested to collect their goods within 7 days after notification. Storage fees may apply to goods that remain uncollected beyond this period. If an order remains uncollected for an extended period, we will contact the customer to arrange collection before taking any further action.
